The Full Story
Celebrating Birmingham MI, One Design at a Time
We’re a local family who loves everything about Birmingham — the walkable downtown, the small-town charm, the community events, and the pride that fills this city. On any given day, you’ll see neighbors out with their dogs, friends meeting for coffee, and families walking to shop or dine. It’s that sense of connection and everyday life that makes Birmingham feel like home.
The idea for Birmingham Collective came to us one afternoon while walking through downtown Birmingham. We passed a bright red Corvette parked along the street — with a black lab sitting proudly in the passenger seat. From where we stood, we couldn’t see the owner, so it looked like the dog was driving.
We couldn’t help but laugh and think, that’s Birmingham. Fun, classy, and full of life — just like the people here. That simple, joyful moment sparked the idea for our logo: a lab riding in a Corvette, representing the community’s love for dogs, cars, walkable neighborhoods, and hometown spirit.

Mission
Our mission is simple: to create apparel that’s fun, wearable, and meaningful — pieces that celebrate the people, stories, and energy that make Birmingham so special.
With every purchase, we give back to the community we love. Inspired by our family’s roots in local public education, 5% of every sale supports Michigan public schools and other community causes that help our neighbors thrive. Each quarter, we donate to a different local service — from schools and first responders to healthcare workers at Beaumont Hospital and beyond.
It’s our way of celebrating Birmingham while supporting the people who make this town shine.
Vision
At Birmingham Collective, we believe that small actions create big impact.
Our vision is to build a brand that connects people through shared pride — where every shirt, hat, or sweatshirt isn’t just something you wear, but something that represents home.
We want Birmingham Collective to become more than a clothing line — a way for locals to give back, celebrate their community, and wear their story with pride.
